Minneapolis police chief announces his department is withdrawing from union negotiations

 

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo announced on Wednesday that the police department will withdraw from contract negotiations with the city's police union as a first step in what he said would be transformational reforms to the agency in the wake of George Floyd's death.
